LeadBind Docs

Signing in

Apple, Google, a code by email, a password, or your phone. One screen for new and returning accounts.

One screen does both: signing in, and making a new account. Use the same way you used last time and you land in the same account.

Go to leadbind.org/agent/login.

The ways in

In the order the screen shows them:

  • Continue with Apple. Uses your Apple ID. If you chose to hide your email from us, see Hidden Apple addresses below.
  • Continue with Google. Uses your Google account.
  • Your email, then Continue. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in, or tap the link in the same email. No password to remember.
  • Use a password. For accounts that already have one. It works the moment the screen appears. Forgot it? Under the password, Forgot your password? Email me a code signs you in with a code instead, no password needed.
  • Sign in with the LeadBind app. On a computer only. Already signed in on your iPhone? Open LeadBind on your phone, go to More, then Log in on web, and scan the code on your computer screen. Or type the short code shown under it. A phone does not show this option, because there would be nothing to scan.

Invite links from a teammate, agency sign-up, and the set-password link we email still work as before. They open the right screen on their own.

The emailed code

  • It works for 15 minutes.
  • Five wrong tries and that code stops working. Send a new one.
  • You can ask for a new code after 30 seconds. Always use the newest email; an older code no longer works once a new one is sent.
  • The link in the email signs you in on the device where you open it.

If the email does not arrive within a minute, check spam, then send a new code. If it still does not come, use Apple, Google, or your password, and email support@leadbind.org.

New account or existing one

You do not choose. If the email (or the Apple or Google account) already has a LeadBind account, you are signed in to it. If not, a new account is made and setup starts. See Quickstart.

There is no free plan. A new account can find its business and hear a sample call first, then picks a plan before the line goes live. See Billing.

You land where you were going

If you opened a link to something inside LeadBind (a call, a lead, a setting) while signed out, signing in takes you straight there, whichever way you sign in. Links to other websites are never followed this way.

If you are signed out while you are using LeadBind (you signed out of this login on another device, changed your password, or your access changed), the next thing you open takes you to this screen with the line "You were signed out. Sign in again to pick up where you left off." Signing in takes you back to the page you were on. A brief network problem never signs you out: LeadBind checks with the server first.

Hidden Apple addresses

When you sign in with Apple you can choose Hide My Email. Apple then gives us a forwarding address, and our email cannot reach it yet. So:

  • Typing that hidden address into the email box does not send a code. The screen tells you to use Continue with Apple instead.
  • During setup we ask for an address where call summaries and receipts can reach you. It is optional, and you can add it later.

When something goes wrong

What you see What it means What to do
"Apple sign-in did not finish." Apple did not hand the sign-in back to us. Try again, or continue with email.
"Google sign-in did not finish." The same, for Google. Try again, or continue with email.
"That code does not match." A typo, or an older email. Use the newest email from LeadBind.
"That code expired." More than 15 minutes passed. Send a new one.
"Too many wrong codes." Five wrong tries on one code. Send a new code.
"Too many tries from this connection." Many attempts in a short time. Wait a minute, then try again.
