Bookings and rescheduling
Reschedules, cancellations, no-shows, and keeping your calendar honest.
What is coming up, and what happens when plans change.
Open Bookings in the app, or ask a connected assistant what is on your calendar.
Where they come from
Three ways an appointment gets made:
- The assistant books it on a call
- Someone books themselves on your booking page
- You book it yourself, or ask your AI to
All three go through the same availability check, so none of them can put something in a slot you are not actually free for. See Availability.
Rescheduling
Every confirmation and reminder includes a link to manage the appointment. The customer can move it themselves, to a time you are genuinely free.
Let them. The link is the single biggest no-show reducer in the product. Someone whose day fell apart will either move it or ghost you, and the ones who can move it mostly do. That is a kept appointment instead of a lost one.
You can also move it yourself from Bookings. Either way the calendar updates and a new confirmation goes out.
Cancellations
Same link cancels. The slot reopens immediately so someone else can take it.
A cancellation is not a failure. It is a slot back in your day, told to you in advance instead of discovered when you arrive.
No-shows
Mark them. It is the only way to know whether your no-show rate is actually improving.
The fix is almost never chasing harder afterward. It is reminders beforehand, and making rescheduling easy.
Your calendar
With Google Calendar connected, every booking lands there and your phone reminds you like everything else does. Changes sync.
Without it, bookings live only in LeadBind, and LeadBind cannot see your other commitments, so it will double-book you. Connect it. See Availability.
Common problems
Wrong time. Your timezone is set wrong, or your Google Calendar timezone differs from LeadBind's. Availability → Timezone.
Double-booked. Google Calendar is not connected, or you connected a calendar you do not use.
Nothing available for callers. Open Availability. Usually minimum notice or the daily cap.
Confirmation never arrived. Texting needs A2P registration; email needs a mailing address on file. See Reminders.
